Job Description

Altran North America is in search of a Lead Test Consultant to help expand our Consulting Services Group capabilities. In this role, you will be a thought leader that balances delivery of client engagements with collaborating on Altran NA strategic initiatives. You will need to be able to multi-task, effectively handle interruptions, and show a genuine interest in building your contact network inside and outside Altran. You should demonstrate an ability and desire to grow both the Consulting Services Group service offerings and your own personal abilities.

As a member of the Consulting Services Group, you will work with our clients:

  • To establish testing processes and infrastructure that fit business, regulatory, and domain needs
  • To balance testing scope vs. cost/schedule to achieve an appropriate level of quality
  • To identify regulatory adherence and prescribe remediation

Key Experience:

  • Full understanding of and hands-on experience with Validation and Verification strategy and implementation
  • Experience in creating, cultivating, and disseminating knowledge of quality assurance best practices and industry standards
  • Knowledge of and experience guiding and mentoring organizations on quality practices such as system, unit, regression, load and acceptance testing methodologies
  • Knowledge of and experience developing, establishing, and executing quality assurance measures and testing standards for applications, products/devices, and/or enhancements throughout their development/product lifecycles
  • Experience preparing and delivering reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in systems and projects across a breadth of product/application domains
  • Experience in creating, updating, identifying and reviewing test plans, test cases and testing results
  • In-depth understanding of testing processes, methodologies, and agile concepts such as Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment
  • Experience working with geographically distributed QA, business, and development teams
  • Experience defining and preparing quality metrics and effectively engaging with stake holders to set and drive quality goals
  • Experience with hiring, training, and mentoring quality assurance engineers
  • Demonstrable understanding of Product / Application Lifecycle Management

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years testing experience, including analysis, writing test cases, and developing testing automation
  • 3+ years overseeing the design, development, and implementation of quality assurance standards for testing
  • 5+ years working within regulated medical product environments
  • 3+ years providing client facing leadership
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting sales activities and writing proposals
  • Experience Intelligent Manufacturing Systems (IMS) and/or Internet of Things (IoT) domains
  • Scrum certified
