    Job Description

    Altran is looking to hire a Junior Application Engineer to work on location in Auburn Hills, MI.



    • Conduct the Validation Fleets preparation, maintenance and updates (PWT maintenance, DATA collection)
    • Coordinate the calibration/SW releases and updates with Maserati Application Team
    • Conduct the first level diagnosis and coordinate second level diagnosis with Maserati Application Team
    • Record the Emission data during any testing in CTC (BE development or Fleet Test verification) and verify the results with the Maserati Base Engine Team
    • Support FCA Quality Scorecard review with Maserati Application Team
    • Support Maserati Team Resident in CTC and coordinate with the team the daily activity other than above listed
    • Attend Test trips in USA and Canada with Maserati Application Team
    • SW and Tools License to be provided by supplier:
      • PC Laptop configured to be able to work fast with INCA
      • ETAS equipment (ES592…)
      • Office License
      • Windows License
      • ETAS INCA/MDA License
      • Possible Dyanalizer (FCA Tool)/CDA/Diagra License…we can help with the purchase of these licenses
      • Possible CANalizer License



    • BSEE, BSCS or Information technology degree or equivalent.
    • 1-2 Years of Automotive Electrical and/or Connectivity experience including:
      • Automotive electrical development and design.
      • Telematics connectivity development and design writing requirements and designs for connected services.
    • Requires strong leadership, management and technical skills to manage the external/internal suppliers/groups.
    • Technical skills include:
      • Vehicle and Connectivity architectural skills
      • Ability to review design and ensure they meeting best practices
    • Excellent Organization Skills
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects and tasks
    • Proficient in MS Office applications
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Ability to discern what issues need management escalation and when.
    • Nice to have Experience on Gasoline Engines and Automatic Transmissions Calibration
    • Nice to have Experience with Calibration Tools


    Preferred Requirements:

    • Java, Android or other Architecture knowledge to advise future direction
    • Master of Science in Electrical, computer, information technology or equivalent.
    • AOTA experience


    Travel and Driving Notes:

    • Will be required to drive a company car. A valid driver’s license is required as well as a clean driving record.
    • Will be required to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%
