    Job Description

     

    As a Project Administrator you will bring excellent analytical skills to assist the Engineering Organization. You will drive improvement initiatives, streamline reporting process, help project leaders to assess and communicate project financial status, and ensure accuracy of data being presented to the engineering and business management teams.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Develop and maintain operational and financial dashboards for various projects and internal improvement initiatives.
    • Assist Technical Team Leaders with financial reporting of projects
    • Assist Technical Team Leaders with opening and closing of projects in the financial system
    • As-needed support project team members with correct time and expense tracking
    • As-needed support project teams to implement or improve document controls, or to address specific quality/audit concerns.
    • Anticipate project issues based on financial data or documentation status and support the technical team leaders in communicating and resolving these.
    • Coordinate weekly team meetings
    • Assist in scheduling and maintain meeting minutes for various meetings
    • Coordinate process improvement initiatives within the Engineering Organization
    • Coordinate and track training of employees to ensure compliance
    • Assist in the on-boarding of new employee including training

     

    Qualifications

     

    • University degree (BA or BS)
    • Specific training in project management, microsoft excel usage and/or financial analysis a plus.
    • 0-2+ years of project or business administrative experience
    • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
    • Previous experience interacting with geographically dispersed teams
    • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
    • Proficiency with common business applications (Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, etc…)
    • Excellent communication skills (active listening, writing, presentation, negotiation, facilitation)
    • Positive working relationships with business managers, technical leaders, and engineers
    • Ability to work in highly motivated team environment
    • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
