Job Description

Altran engineers work in a fast paced highly technical environment on wide range of products from high volume consumer electronics with sleek design characteristics to extremely complex industrial or robotic systems where high availability and extreme precision are prioritized over visual elegance.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, action oriented, and a persistent achiever. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work cross-functionally in a highly technical environment. The candidate must demonstrate strong communication skills with a proven ability to deliver effective presentations to business and technical audiences. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead by example, manage by influence, and to communicate effectively at all levels in the organization.   The candidate will demonstrate a devotion to product quality with significant experience planning and leading design reviews, risk mitigation, simulation, EMC and safety testing activities.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Master’s preferred.
  • 10+ years’ experience in an engineering role including activities across the product development life cycle from concept to release.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed

Expertise in two or more of the following technical specialties is required:

  • Systems Engineering and Architecture design
  • Analog design (Small or Mixed signal, High voltage, and/or Power)
  • Battery management system design
  • Embedded Microprocessor/controller based design
  • FPGA design, simulation and test bench development
  • DSP & Algorithm Development
  • Motor control and electro-mechanical design
  • Control Systems Modeling, Feedback (SISO)
